I’ve started running…or at least incorporated it with my workouts. Shocking..I know. I’ve always been less than athletic, and so finally enjoying running is a big deal for me! So I thought I’d put together some fitness and beauty items I’ve been loving lately!

Health is a delicate thing and all too often we jeopardize it in pursuit of pleasure, comfort and indulgence. People who are filled with confidence have not won a genetic lottery— they have their own determination and commitment to thank. It is about the choices we make on a daily basis, and decisions that allow us to make a positive change. Do not allow today to become another defeat, fill it with small victories and turn the tide in the war for a better, healthier life.
I did some baking (kind sorta…staywithme) today after I went to the gym. The irony is strong I know. BUT I thought I’d share what I whipped up. Now full disclosure, the original recipe is from my step-mom Rebecca, she makes these for my dad. (Everyone say hi to my Dad and Rebecca!) My Dad has a serious love for Reese’s peanut butter cups, and that’s basically what these cookies are. I took the basic recipe and added a couple things! Hope you enjoy!

Summer is upon us! Many bloggers are out there enjoying the nice weather, and are too tired to come up with blog post ideas late at night. Well that’s when it hit me…I should make a list for y’all! One of my most popular posts was my 160 Blog Post Idea post, so this is a smaller sequel! Hey you can expect 160 every time! I’m thinking of making this a seasonal post actually! So stay tuned for the fall edition! So keep reading if you need some inspiration. I even put the prompts into categories this time! 😉
Doing the same things, day-in and day-out get can monotonous and boring pretty quick. Although routine and discipline are necessary to achieve real and lasting fitness goals and results, who said you can’t have a little or a lot of fun along the way (Depending on how you look at it). What’s most important is that you maintain a certain level of activity during the week. However, depending on your current level of fitness and your aspirations you can always tweak my following suggestions to get a little creative with your training and workouts.
Creativity is the antidote to boredom and stagnation. It can help you get out a rut quickly and provide you with the necessary inspiration and motivation you need to move ahead without feeling like giving up. If you’re tired of juggling the same exercises and repeating the same old workouts, try your hand at the following and I guarantee you won’t be disappointed.
