Full disclosure, the first time I wrote the title for the blog I spelled first F R I S G. So you could say it’s been an interesting day. BUT Alexander (who you’ll remember from this adorable post), Brittany and I signed up for our first 5k and it’s fast approaching! Kind of fitting with the Olympics happening right now right? Anyway! Keep reading to see my thoughts on starting running, matching shirts, and charity opportunities!
Remember me posting about my dad and I doing an obstacle course? Well we finished it and it was a ton of fun! Battle Frog is relatively new to the world of obstacle course races, but it’s designed by Navy seals! My dad was in the Army, so I’m sure that was a plus for him as well. Actually he’s most likely reading this…so all together now…Hi Mariah’s Dad!
So, along with the large portion of the population, I made goals for the 2016 year involving fitness. I’m super excited to be doing an obstacle course run with my dad at the end of January. You can read more about this here. Along with that goal, I’m just generally looking to get in shape, and maybe participate in a bikini competition one day! But for now, I have a little update, and a list of my favorite fitness gear for the past couple months!
2016 is just around the corner, and while I believe in turning over a new leaf anytime in the year (get it? Ahaha), New years resolutions are a bit of a tradition for a lot of people. So I thought I would put mine together for you. I do my resolutions as half habits I would like to adopt and half a year to-do list.
Remember my year in review post? I put how I have goals just to be a generally good adult for awhile? Well I’ve put together a 5 year plan (I’m trying to get my guy to do one as well). So I thought I’d share it with you! I have a somewhat specific timeline to mine, but many people just use it as a kind of general 5 year life to do list! You can do whatever strikes your fancy!
