If you’re in AZ you’ve probably heard about the newest watery attraction. Scottsdale now plays host to a new aquarium called OdySea aquarium. Some people are very upset that the aquarium was put in place, evidently because of the dolphins that it houses. Or is going to house, because they’re not in yet. There was a very vague opening date of “late summer early fall” on the website for awhile, but I love aquariums so I was willing to wait. I actually made a list of things that I thought would be good anniversary dates for Alexander to look at and he picked this too 😉 I also went to the Tampa Bay Aquarium last summer if you want to compare and contrast adventures!
This is just a simple post to say I love you. I love you for all the little things you do, and how you support me through everything. I’m so excited to move in with you (again) and see where life takes us! Here’s to many more years and motorcycle rides ❤
Hey guys, gals, and everyone else!
Full disclosure, the first time I wrote the title for the blog I spelled first F R I S G. So you could say it’s been an interesting day. BUT Alexander (who you’ll remember from this adorable post), Brittany and I signed up for our first 5k and it’s fast approaching! Kind of fitting with the Olympics happening right now right? Anyway! Keep reading to see my thoughts on starting running, matching shirts, and charity opportunities!
Hey guys, gals, and everyone else!
So Brenna (You’ll remember her from this post!) turned 23 on July 13th! Everyone say Happy Birthday Brenna 😀 So for her birthday we went to a Halsey concert! We had a great time, and it was a wonderful start to her birthday! I have this theory that for a birthday you should 1. Get Something 2. Do Something and 3. Eat Something! So this was the Do Something portion 🙂
So I’ve decided to finally making a transition into who I truly am…a chicken.
Okay not really. But I am taking the first steps into becoming an egg donor. I’ve given blood many a time, I proudly sport a little heart for organ donation on my drivers license, and at Phoenix Comicon I got swabbed to become a possible bone marrow donor. While I strongly believe everyone should have complete control of his or her body (looking at you pro lifers), I also think every human has a duty to help those in need. I mean, there is no possible way I am going to use all of my eggs…so why not help a family that needs help producing a child? I should note I’d rather they adopt…but ya know.
So if you’re interested in the process, and what I’ve done so far, keep reading!
I just realized I can write a blog post from my phone, how dumb am I?! Anyway. This past weekend I had the pleasure of attending my first Comic Con! Phoenix’s event is not nearly as big as San Diego’s but it was still really cool seeing all the different events and cosplayers. The best part? I got paid to cover the event for my work on social media. So yes ….hashtags do pay my bills. It was a scorching 118 degrees outside on Saturday…and our booth was outside! BUT I had a great time none the less. Here are some of my favorite moments from the weekend!
Wordpress (which is the platform I use) does this nifty thing where it notifies you about major milestones! Well low and behold, I’ve been blogging a whole damn year! I had toyed with the idea of doing a long sappy post again…but to be honest, I think I covered that in all my birthday and 5 year plan posts?! SO we’ll focus on something that I find a lot more exciting.
